About Us
Ronald
Ronald is the President of Texas Promotions, Inc. and is our senior instructor. After growing up in the small farming town of Haskell, Texas, he went on to join the military and obtain a masters degree from Texas Tech University in Agricultural Education with a minor in Range and Wildlife Management.
After retiring from a career as a State Conservationist USDA/NRCS and from the Army National Guard, he has gone on to obtain multiple levels of firearms certifications and licensures, including through the NRA and the State of Texas. His firearms certifications also include instructor of pistol, shotgun, and range safety officer for Scouts BSA.
He and his wife have two sons and four beautiful grandchildren. One of his sons, Jarred, is also one of our licensed instructors. Ronald and his wife are active volunteers in many areas such as their church and the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.

Jarred
Jarred is a manager with Texas Promotions, Inc. and is one of our instructor. After growing up in the small west Texas town of Odessa, he went on to join the military, attend Texas A&M University, and later serve as a police officer. Since leaving law enforcement, he has spent his time working for the State of Texas in various roles.
Like Ronald, he has also gone on to obtain multiple levels of firearms certifications and licensures, including through the NRA and the State of Texas.
He and his wife have settled on a few acres just outside of College Station, Texas where they are both active volunteers within the community. Their church and their roles as volunteers with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo keep them busy. Recently, Jarred has accepted the position as Vice Chairman of the Communications Division of the Safety Committee with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo
